Anyone who knows me knows I hate tea. I hate sipping hot drinks and really don't see any taste value in any tea that isn't so fruity it may as well be juiced. Icy and lemony is the way I usually drink it and prefer it that way.
So my recent chamomile tea habit may come as a shock to some of you.
Blame the boy, he loves chamomile and dosed me with it, leading to the deepest sleep I've had in awhile. So now I have touching faith in the stuff.
I can't leave well enough alone though. I STILL think chamomile tastes boring and vaguely soapy, so I mix it with peppermint tea and a teaspoon of honey. Even then, I can't be holding with sip sip sipping it, so I tend to let it cool and then gulp it down.
Nope I'm really not too good at relaxing.
Thank goodness this stuff works on me. For now.
I've read using it regularly negates its soporific qualities so it's still an occasional thing, when I'm restless or really want to sleep long and deep.
Anyone else swear by this?

Thank you so much for the comment on my blog- you are spot on with your observation!! My sprained ankle really threw me physically and emotionally but I do feel as though I am 'back.'
