After years of never being able to bake, a new oven combined with copious amounts of the Asian Food Channel has resulted in mom turning into a baker.
"I'm finally the mom you never had!" she crowed as she dished out banana and chocolate muffins.
These blueberry and walnut ones were also wonderfully scrummy. She's planning on lemon and coconut next I think.
If she gets 3 in a row right, I'll ask her to teach me. ;)
