Braided Ballerina Bun

This really is easy as pie. My one problem is I like a flatter bun, more spread out, less cone shaped. So here's what you do:

  1. Tie a low pony tail.
  2. Braid your hair normally and tie the end off with elastic
  3. Start to coil your braid around the base pinning it flat as you go. If you want a more cone shaped bun then simply coil it all the way around, tuck the ends in and pin at the end.
  4. Add a decorative pin to help hide the tuck in (or not, I had some trouble getting the darn thing to hide). And voila!
I've found the perfect hair pins for my hair. I hate bobby pins, they ruin the manicure and they fall out anyway. These U-Shaped pins from Daiso (where else) are easy to use, hold my hair beautifully and are next to invisible!
