Nothing spells adventure for me like a hardy leather satchel with pockets. LOTS of pockets. Think Indiana Jones, English school kid adventures and those good 'ol khaki clad explorers. Mom found this treasure for me in Taiping, of all places and it's perfect.
Not too heavy, roomy, pockets galore and a vintage brown that will only look better the more battered and old it looks. Absolutely perfect for travel.

Another frock I'd totally buy - if I didn't already have so many similar incarnations!
Curious, is the material soft or hard-ish? Seen too many sundresses which look yummy but have this stiff waxy texture (translation: cheap cotton) which doesn't disappear even after a couple of washes.
Hey Alex, it feels like good solid cotton actually. A bit stiff like a newly dried bedsheet but I think it'll be great after a few washes. =)
Lovely satchel :) It's nice that vintage satchels look better with age! (Until you spill nail polish on it, like me)
You have no idea how gatal I am to buy some dresses in KL. Gah, totally holding myself back here.

Ok so I hate the smell but I am ga-ga over the ring!!

SF: hey umm are you based in the US or in Malaysia? If in M'sia a little harder to get. If in the US, check out sephora and amazon. I googled both and there was the ring. Otherwise, when you travel check out special coffrets in duty frees.
Kahani: I'm based in M'sia. I've been looking for it here in M'sia and even the MJ boutiques don't have it. I was told they aren't bringing it in. I was down in S'pore and apparently they sold out because it's a Limited Edition. So yea... boohoo. Do you know how much it is?
