When the sun comes peeking out behind dark clouds, guess who loves to come out to play? Why, froclicky, fun, frivolous bunnies, of course!
So it has been such a long time that Kahani and I have headed to the rooftop, but since she had a new camera, and I was waiting for work (yes, really, there are those kinds of days!)....and the sun was out!
I picked up this beautiful bunny-print shirt in Bangkok when I had approximately 15 minutes to do serious shopping damage (Mr M and I were a little too careful with our money when we went on holiday together, because paranoid old me thought we hadn't changed enough--on the last day, we sort of looked at the wads of Thai Baht we still had in something resembling horror, and decided to spend, spend, spend!)Even then, I arguably didn't spend very well, because I still insisted on bargaining, and all that *flushes with embarrassment *. I sowwy, I am Chinese like that. Anyway, this delicious piece was only RM15 (THB 15, AUD 3 (!!)--for our Aussie readers). Don't the bunnies remind you of Peter Rabbit?
Random asides: Kahani and I both have the exact same Beatrix Potter porcelain sets, which our parents (who don't know each other) picked up in the UK in the late 80's. We even have the same piggybank from NatWest Bank, randomly enough!
And on a rare tech note (for me, that is)--how adorable is this dusty rose holster? For fellow CrackBerriers, you'd sympathise with how incredibly boring the present holsters are (assuming you even get one with some of the newer models!). I picked this up at the most adorably named store in SS15, Subang Jaya (map here) called--wait for it--Pop My Berry. Hee! It was a little expensive at RM68 (Kahani's eyes widened in horror when I told her how much) but as it's leather (so they said), and I needed one, I figured why the heck not.And it's PINK! There were other variants of pink though--they had peach and a much lighter pastel pink, and even others in blue, green, yellow, and ye boring black.
This one was love at first sight, although it was a leeeeetle too tight for my Curve 8520 at first. To loosen it up, I stuffed a tin of Eclipse mints in there and left it for a few days to expand. It has since loosened up and is a more comfy fit for my baby Berry now.
Top: THB 150 (RM15), Bangkok
Skirt: Nichii Fashion City
Leather ballet flats: Big W
BlackBerry holster: RM68, Pop My Berry (tee hee)

And the print is actually cute...wee chubby bunnies. Some prints have horrifying ones with beady red eyes.

Rey: hahah killer bunnehs. I love the Killer Bunny slippers based on Monty Python & the Holy Grail. =D
Plue: The glasses are a prop. The hairstyle.. was ALSO a prop.
Rey: Sho cuteness, right? :D Loves it.
Plue: The glasses were a self-fulfilling prophecy--I am really now in glasses, but only for work :)
Kahani: Pff!
Are those the Kmart ballet flats? *@)&#@*# Those are fantastically cute! Is your sole purpose in life to turn us green with shoe envy, woman?
