Red Door

Everyday Mel and I walk past this red door right next to the office and we always think "gotta use it in a Frocking pic someday". Well this was the day!

This is the sort of outfit I wear when I'm too stressed to think about what to wear but still need to look pulled together and professional. Oh and sassy too. Nothing helps the trammeled mind like a sassy outfit.

The shoes are comfy, the dress is a simple black shift that's stretchy AND comfy. The sass comes from the red belt and earrings.

Have you noticed by now how MUCH i love combining black and red? I really should consider branching out shouldn't I? But what colour is more awesome with black than red? (And don't say white!). Suggestions?

Dress: H&M London (£7 on sale)
Belt: Cats Whiskers Bangsar (RM24 on sale)
Earrings: Diva (RM13 on sale)
Shoes: Clarks (RM238 NOT on sale >_<)

I love the belt's red shades.

Hmm, I look at this and think...really sweet outfit for an Xmas dinner party. Really!

I think red goes best with black as well. But sometimes, I try to match black with sapphire blue.

i think u always look good in red and black!

black with royal blue? or even grey for a very monochromatic feel, but it might be boring, and some off whites like beige? if u up for some neon, go bright pink! LOL!

is clarks available in msia? i am in need of really really comfy heels that won't make my leg "break out" :)

Butterflies!! I like teal and black.

I found a kimono colour coordination chart somewhere... If your kimono is blue, you can match with darker blue obi, pink obiage and red obijme. Something of the sort. But it does give interesting colour combo ideas.

Plue: There are tons of Clarks stores around Malaysia. Usually every major mall should have one. On the more expensive side but last forever :)

Thanks Rey!

I might have seen it, but never went in? LOL. Should look harder now. I hate it when my leg gets those damn blisters and I can't wear anything other than flip flops!

Black and brown goes well, too, although it's a bit of a too-safe bet. Try black and a deep purple? I know black and hot pink prolly isn't your cuppa :P
