When you're too caught up paying off college loans and utility bills, you may have to wait on collecting precious gems. In the meantime, this is how I bling it up...
My outfit is a satin tube dress under a white top with slightly puffy sleeves. I found this sleek and shiny number after serious rummaging in one of the many Sungei Wang (Malaysia) stores. Next year, I'm writing down the store names because I sure as heck do not remember this one.
I adore how the colours of the dress compliment each other: Sapphire pink and blue, onyx black and pearl white. The fabric is lightweight and cooling but has a decent thickness to it, not the least bit flimsy. I let the ruffly upper hem of the dress peek out under the white puffy sleeve tee so my upper half doesn't look overly plain. The dress also comes with adjustable and removable matching satin straps...great to wear on its own when the weather is sunnier out.
To wrap up this look, I slipped into a pair of white wooden sandals and clipped a pretty lily in my hair. Gemstone jewellery is nice, but a whole outfit's even better :)
