I am normally a homebody. But thanks to a recent infusion of happeningness into my previously dead social life, I found myself gravitating toward more party pieces. Plus, since this cost only THB99 (about RM10), what's not to love?!
I picked up this peplum dress during my recent mad spree in Bangkok, and while it's only been out once, I reckon it's going to be a firm favourite.
While yes, I know it's a little tight at the moment, on account of me having some extra holiday baggage, it will loosen up over time. After I bust a few seams getting my groove on, hoho.
But how cute is the exposed zip? Argh. I know they're everywhere at the moment but you gotta admit it's kinda cool in an...exposed kind of way. The material, while not the best quality in the world (hey, you get what you pay for), doesn't really require ironing, and has shimmery flecks to it.
Black and gold also makes me think of that Sam Sparro song--and er, yes, the in-house brand of FoodWorks and Ritchie IGA's in Australia, but that's a different thing altogether.
