As soon as I put on the dress the temptation to pop on a white shirt underneath, put on my red shoes, grab Toto and skip off to see the Wizard was almost irresistable. As you can see I resisted. For now.The skipping I couldn't resist. Skipping makes me silly happy.
As with many vintage finds, the dress needed some work. The bodice was rather large for me so I took it in and shortened the straps. The material is lovely, heavy weave cotton that feels both sturdy and comfy.
Maybe I will wear those red shoes next time. With blue socks....

what?? rm5?
lapis lazuli - how apt. it corresponds to the throat chakra, and you are a journalist.
Yes RM5! =D Material alone has got to be worth more than that.
Interesting, I've always liked Lapis Lazuli. I now want a Moonstone pendant..
LOL trust you to put a wawa spin to it, Pets!
moonstone balances masculine and feminine energies.
i think it would look lovely on you, emily.
Meldee: It still takes me awhile to decode "wawa". But I get there... =P
Petra: Thanks dear. LOL balance is good. I'm more fond of it for the history, the name and how fascinatingly opalescent it is.
