It was a tough week, so dressing is kept minimal and fuss-free. Jewellery is where I allow myself to escape.
This lovely glass pendent, infused with 24K gold, comes from the island of Murano in Venice, Italy. Hand-made by husky Italian men (well, the one who demonstrated the art of blowing glass was a husky Italian man, so why shouldn't my pendent be made by the same?) it carries with it the weight of centuries of expertise.I only had two days in Venice - which isn't enough. One day, I will go back.
